These are four of my favourite beautiful things – photographed from my own wardrobe and belongings.
1. Lace. Because it is the product of a skilled, old, old craft and when a woman wears lace it usually signals she is feeling sensual, romantic, secret or decadent. This Chloe top is one of many lace items in my wardrobe.
2. Beading. I love the luxury and tactility of wearing or holding old beaded garments. One of my vintage bags; I should photograph all of them! They are such beautiful objects which fill me with joy to have.
3. Roses. Perfection; they look sublime, smell glorious, are delicate yet tenacious.
4. Silk. Sensual, tactile, seductive silk. My Fleur Wood camisole. Camisoles are another wardrobe passion of mine.
