Spotted on unbearably (almost) elegant blog by French style snapper Garance Dore. These images look the way a really vintage, good quality champagne would taste. The rich colours, the effervescent textures, the subdued yet sparkling light. I love the whole series. As she writes, it is very 1980s but it is a 1980s not everyone remembers or recognises – one which is elegant, moody, dramatic, and always glamorous.
Garance’s blog is always special to look at. I love the gorgeous flow of the typeface she uses and the different facets of (predominantly) womanly style.
