This photo was taken in Florence but it reminded me of New York City and its proliferation of bright pink lips during summer – and fluoescently-hued toenails. I saw every colour toenail under the sun in NYC, most of which were competing with the sun in terms of brightness.

My two NARS picks are matte, which makes them awfully long-wearing (meaning no touch-ups, meaning this look actually becomes…shock horror…convenient and wearable!) and modern, when paired with fake-tanned skin, groomed brows and fairly bare eyes.
The Revlon choice is my grandmother’s signature colour, and I sport it often too. It has a sliiiiiightly frosted finish, of which I am forgiving because of its purply pink hue which just brings pale complexions to life. I always get compliments wearing this. Love the matching nail polish too!!

I love pink lipstick. I have several in different shades. My top two are from MAC and they’re called Gaga and Satin. I think every girl at one point or another should wear a pink lip.
