New York City Style: unexpected surfaces

Just a little post tonight as a sweet dreams teaser. One of the things I adored about NYC was the unexpected textures, surfaces and details. From a pot-plant dripping in yellow flowers sitting all alone on a concrete step in a Soho street to seemingly ordinary corporate buildings encased in some kind of muted silver walls, like antique pressed tin. The latter just like these- snapped while waiting for the Hampton Jitney on a humid, rainy New York morning.
