Well two of these items were presents to myself but that still counts!
Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion. I’ve long been a fan of baby products for grown-ups and this is one of my new favourites. Smells like buttermilk with a hint of talcum powder sweetness and it nicely moisturises my body without being too rich. From Adore Beauty, department stores and select chemists. Oh and it only costs $19.95 au!
Metalicus ponte leggings. The Melbourne girl in me loves Melbourne-grown label Metalicus. I have recently become particularly enamoured with their ponte leggings – so soft and comfortable like pyjamas, only far more flattering. I always receive compliments when I wear mine. I have them in marle grey and black. From Metalicus stores and online, and select Myer stores.
Walnut ballet flats. My sister gave me a pair of blue and white stripe canvas ballet flats from Walnut (another Melbourne label) for Christmas. She knows I love ballet flats and these are so cute and comfortable (cute comfort seems to be a theme in today’s post). Thanks sis! The greedy little thing that I am I now have my eyes on the patent black and white version … FromWalnut Melbourne online and in store.
Kenzo (the big, beautiful book). My darling husband knows I love artisan, beautifully designed and printed books. This one celebrates 40 years of the icon Japanese/French design house in a divine cloth-bound photographic book, complete with fold-out pages and the most incredible, intricate pop-up spread. It truly is a thing of beauty. From Kenzo online, Boffins and select bookstores.
