What a beautiful image: I love the sumptuous ginger chestnut hair, the loose, long, intricate folds and detail of the dress and the warm chocolate loafers. It’s a beautiful Autumnal look: college-style masculine meets fairytale feminine. Note the straps revealing a white slip underneath: older and much wiser women in my family have always insisted one wears a slip under her clothes. A fluid slip or camisole keeps silhouettes smooth, keeps the outer garments fresher for longer (less washes) and with white, pale or transparent clothes, a slip keeps your underwear a secret, hidden away from the eyes of all and sundry.
