Happy Tuesday beauties!
First of all apologies for my tardy post; I usually post on Mondays and Thursdays but yesterday got the better of me and … excuses, excuses! Yesterday was indeed a busy day for yours truly but I did manage to squeeze in a little Monday Night Beauty Ritual. To begin, I must say my skin has been loving the hot compress technique: after massaging in cleanser I remove it by wringing hot water from a face washer then pressing over my face and holding for 10 seconds. Then I gently wipe off cleanser, re-soak and re-wring the washer and repeat the hot compress before splashing my face with a little water. The water is not too hot but hot enough to create a little steam for the skin which softens the skin and loosens grime from pores.
So last night, after my hot washer compress, I gently massaged in some Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Refining Treatment. This is a creamy, non-foaming granule exfoliant. It smells subtle but sort of wholesome and is packed full of herbal goodies so I left this on for 10 minutes while I tinted my eye brows.
After removing the Jurlique, and with freshly darkened brows, I applied one of my favourite masks: Ole Henriksen’s Blue/Black-Berry Enzyme Mask. This is hydrating but also renewing as the enzymes lightly polish and exfoliate the skin (the granule exfoliant in the Jurlique Refining Treatment acted as a skin prep for this mask). I settled on the sofa with a hot Milo, rain pattering outside, in my suggliest, comfiest merino wool Skin and Threads sweater, and let the mask do its happy job. Twenty minutes later my skin was cocooned in a rich moisturiser and I was ready for bed.
Monday Night Beauty Products:
Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Refining Treatment and Ole Henriksen Blue/Black-Berry Enzyme Mask (this is available in Australia through Adore Beauty).
Sweet dreams!

Hi lilydrop! Regarding the mask not going firm are you referring to the Ole Henriksen one? Because this is not a hardening mask – it stays soft. Not all masks should go firm. :)
